ACADEMIC FORUM RULES AND REGULATIONS

  • Participation Qualification
    *Presenters are limited only to researchers from universities and national/public institutes presenting their research achievements. Company promotion and/or product presentation is strictly prohibited, and inclusion of company name, logos and product names in poster display, presentation, product display and leaflet distribution is also prohibited.
    *The participant agrees that his/her participation shall be admitted and shall remain from day to day solely in strict compliance with the rules and regulations herein laid down. Academic Forum Show Management reserves the right to reject, effect or prohibit in whole or in part, or any participant or his/her representatives, with or without giving cause. If cause is not given, liability shall not exceed the return to the participant of the amount of the participation price unearned based in the number of days of the forum remaining at the time of ejection.
  • Cancellation
    Cancellation will not be accepted after your registration of participation.
  • Payment
    Participation fee must be paid in full conforming to the invoice submitted by Academic Forum Show Management. In case of default in payment, participants will not be permitted to participate in the forum. All bank commission incurred to be paid by remitter.
  • Liability
    The participant agrees to pay promptly for any and all damage to the forum building or its equipment incurred through carelessness of participant or his/her staffs. Academic Forum Show Management shall not be responsible in the event of any errors or omissions in advertisements or in any promotional materials.
  • Termination of Academic Forum
    If the Academic Forum Show Management terminates application and/or the forum itself by virtue of any cause or causes not reasonably, liability shall not exceed the refund of participation fee determined on the prorated daily basis counting the number of remaining days before the forum.
  • Attending your poster display area
    The following acts are strictly prohibited.
    *coming late/ leaving early
    *packing/ carrying-out posters during the forum hours
    *unattending
    Especially, presenters or their substitutes are required to station at their poster display area for the whole forum hours.
  • Sub-Leasing
    Participants may not permit others to yield the right to attend Academic Forum, without written permission of the Show Management.
  • Photography, Video Recording
    The photographic and video recording rights for Academic Forum are reserved to the Show Management.
  • Protection of Intellectual Property Rights
    Presenters are held responsible for assuring the protection of intellectual property rights (patents, utility model rights, design rights and trademarks) of the information included in presentations and posters. The organiser of the forum shall not be held responsible for protection of intellectual property rights at the forum.
  • Presentation Time Table and Poster Display Booth Location
    The rights to decide the presentation timetable and Poster Display Booth Location are reserved to Academic Forum Show Management.
